The museum shows the only comprehensive look at both early day and  modern mining to be found in southeastern Ohio.

The non-profit education museum is dedicated to the preservation of the rich  mining heritage of Harrison County, Ohio.


Visitors to the museum can view displays detailing the formation of coal, early minding tools, items from the company store, heavy machinery, a working scale model of the dragline, and a wealth of historic photographs. 


Located in the lower level of the Puskarich Public Library at 200 East Market Street in Cadiz, Ohio.
