The Village of Cadiz is located in the Eastern Central portion of Harrison County at the convergence of U.S. Routes 22 and 250, and State Route 9.  Cadiz was established in 1804, selected as the county seat in 1813, and incorporated 1818.  The village has a population of 3,308 as determined in the 2000 census.
