Clendening Lake is the largest undeveloped lake in Ohio with 42 miles of shoreline, 1800 acres of water and 4800 acres of land. The marina offers three log cabins (one can sleep up to 8 people and two that can accommodate up to 12 people), three efficiencies that sleep a maximum of 6 people, one efficiency that sleeps a maximum of 4, two camper cabins with bunk accommodations, RV Lots, 80 electric camping areas and 20 non-electric areas.
Sally Buffalo Park is a metro park located inside the Village of Cadiz. The park has 90 transient sites for camping, a Big Barn for large informal gatherings, several picnic shelters, primitive camping, Wallace Lodge for more "formal" events, three lakes for fishing and a recently developed beach area for swimming. Campsites have 30 amp electric hook-up & village water.
Tappan Lake Park is situated on the south side of the lake on County Road 2; just four miles from U.S. Route 250, 7 1/2 miles west of Cadiz (U.S. Route 250), and one mile from the Village of Deersville (County Road 2). The lake has 2,350 acres of water with a maximum depth of 34 feet, 41 miles of shoreline and 5,000 acres of land. The park and campgrounds has more than 500 campsites with Class A electric full hook-ups and electric sites, a beach for swimming, concession stand, vacation cabins and camper cabins, an activity center, nature center, laundry, camp store, several playgrounds and a trail that connects the park with the Tappan Wetlands, which has been designated as a watchable wildlife area.
